Last Updated: September 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to TIG Logistics.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TIG Logistics website, customer portal, shipment services, logistics services, tracking system, payment features, quotation services, and other related services provided by TIG Logistics.

By accessing our website, creating an account, requesting a quote, creating a shipment, making a payment, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

TIG Logistics provides logistics and delivery-related services which may include:

  • Parcel and cargo delivery
  • Shipment creation and management
  • Pickup and delivery coordination
  • Shipment tracking
  • Express and standard delivery services
  • Quotation and pricing services
  • Customer account management
  • Wallet and payment services
  • Electronic receipts
  • Inventory and warehouse-related services where applicable
  • Email and SMS shipment notifications
  • Other logistics-related services offered by TIG Logistics

The availability of specific services may depend on your location, shipment type, destination, package details, operational capacity, and other applicable conditions.

3. Customer Accounts

Certain services may require you to create a customer account.

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities performed through your account.

You must notify TIG Logistics promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, violation of these Terms, or activities that may harm our systems, customers, or business.

4. Shipment Information

When creating a shipment or requesting logistics services, you are responsible for providing accurate shipment information.

This may include:

  • Sender information
  • Recipient information
  • Pickup address
  • Delivery address
  • Package description
  • Package weight
  • Package dimensions
  • Declared value where applicable
  • Delivery instructions
  • Contact information

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delivery delays, additional charges, failed delivery attempts, returned shipments, or cancellation of the shipment.

5. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must not use TIG Logistics to transport items that are illegal, dangerous, prohibited, restricted, or otherwise unsuitable for transportation.

Prohibited or restricted items may include, depending on applicable laws and transportation requirements:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Explosives
  • Unlawful weapons or ammunition
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Highly flammable materials
  • Stolen goods
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Illegal wildlife products
  • Unlawfully transported currency
  • Items prohibited by applicable laws or regulatory authorities

Certain lawful items may also require special approval, documentation, packaging, insurance, or handling before they can be accepted for transportation.

TIG Logistics reserves the right to refuse, suspend, inspect, or cancel a shipment where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the shipment contains prohibited, restricted, unsafe, incorrectly declared, or unlawful items.

6. Packaging Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipments are properly packaged for transportation unless TIG Logistics has expressly agreed to provide packaging services.

Packaging should be appropriate for the nature, weight, size, fragility, and value of the shipment.

TIG Logistics may not be responsible for damage caused primarily by inadequate, unsuitable, or defective packaging provided by the customer.

7. Shipment Inspection

Where permitted by applicable law, TIG Logistics may inspect or request inspection of a shipment where reasonably necessary for safety, regulatory compliance, security, customs requirements, fraud prevention, or verification of shipment information.

Inspection does not mean that TIG Logistics accepts responsibility for verifying the legality, quality, condition, value, or accuracy of every shipment.

8. Quotes and Pricing

Shipment prices may be calculated based on factors such as:

  • Package weight
  • Package dimensions
  • Pickup location
  • Delivery destination
  • Delivery service type
  • Shipment category
  • Declared value
  • Special handling requirements
  • Applicable taxes or regulatory charges
  • Other operational costs

Quotes provided before physical verification of a shipment may be estimates.

The final shipment charge may change where the actual weight, dimensions, destination, package category, handling requirement, or other relevant shipment information differs from the information originally provided.

9. Payments

TIG Logistics may provide different payment options, including manual payments, wallet payments, and online payment gateways.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that payments are made using valid and authorised payment methods.

Online payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Paystack, Flutterwave, or other approved payment processors.

Transactions processed by third-party payment providers may also be subject to the provider's own terms, policies, and verification procedures.

10. Customer Wallet

Where a customer wallet is available, customers may fund their account and use available wallet balances for eligible transactions.

Wallet funding does not itself represent payment for a completed shipment unless the relevant shipment charge has been applied.

A customer's wallet balance may be adjusted when an authorised shipment charge, refund, correction, or other valid transaction is processed.

TIG Logistics may investigate suspicious, duplicated, reversed, disputed, or unauthorised wallet transactions before allowing further use of affected funds.

11. Shipment Charges and Delivery Settlement

Shipment charges may become payable according to the payment arrangement applicable to the shipment.

Where TIG Logistics operates a delivery-based settlement system, the applicable shipment charge may be deducted or recorded when the shipment is successfully delivered.

If the customer's available wallet balance is insufficient, the outstanding amount may remain payable until it is successfully collected or otherwise settled.

Customers remain responsible for valid outstanding shipment charges.

12. Manual Payments

Where manual payment is available, TIG Logistics may provide bank account or other approved payment instructions.

Customers must ensure that payments are made only to official payment details provided through authorised TIG Logistics channels.

A manual payment notification submitted by a customer does not automatically confirm that payment has been received.

Manual payments may remain pending until verified by TIG Logistics.

13. Shipment Tracking

TIG Logistics may provide shipment tracking information through the website or customer portal.

Tracking information is provided to help customers monitor shipment progress.

Tracking updates may include statuses such as:

  • Pending
  • Confirmed
  • Picked Up
  • In Transit
  • At Warehouse
  • Out for Delivery
  • Delivered
  • Failed Delivery
  • Returned
  • Cancelled

Tracking updates may not always occur immediately, particularly where updates depend on driver, warehouse, network, partner, or manual operational activity.

14. Pickup and Delivery

Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery details and ensure that the sender or recipient is reasonably available at the agreed location.

Delivery times provided by TIG Logistics are estimates unless a specific guaranteed service has been expressly agreed in writing.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Traffic
  • Weather conditions
  • Road conditions
  • Security situations
  • Incorrect addresses
  • Recipient unavailability
  • Regulatory inspections
  • Vehicle problems
  • Network interruptions
  • Third-party logistics delays
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

15. Failed Delivery Attempts

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful where the recipient cannot be reached, the delivery address is incorrect, access is restricted, the recipient refuses the shipment, or another circumstance prevents completion.

Additional delivery attempts may result in additional charges where applicable.

Where delivery cannot be completed, the shipment may be returned to the sender, held at a facility, rescheduled, or otherwise handled according to operational requirements.

16. Delivery Confirmation

A shipment may be considered successfully delivered when it has been delivered to the recipient, an authorised representative, or another person reasonably authorised to receive the shipment at the delivery location.

TIG Logistics may use signatures, photographs, delivery codes, digital confirmations, GPS information, driver confirmations, or other evidence as proof of delivery where applicable.

17. Shipment Delays

While we make reasonable efforts to deliver shipments within expected timeframes, delays may occasionally occur.

Except where otherwise required by law or expressly guaranteed in writing, estimated delivery dates and times do not constitute guarantees.

18. Lost or Damaged Shipments

Customers should report suspected loss or damage promptly using the official TIG Logistics customer support channels.

Claims may require supporting information such as:

  • Tracking number
  • Shipment details
  • Proof of shipment value
  • Photographs
  • Receipts or invoices
  • Packaging evidence
  • Other information reasonably required to investigate the claim

Compensation, where applicable, may depend on the circumstances of the shipment, declared value, insurance coverage, applicable law, and any limitation of liability that legally applies.

19. Insurance

Standard logistics charges do not necessarily include comprehensive shipment insurance unless specifically stated.

Customers transporting valuable, fragile, sensitive, or high-risk goods should confirm available insurance options before creating the shipment.

20. Refunds

Refund eligibility will depend on the nature of the transaction and the circumstances involved.

A refund may be considered where:

  • A payment was duplicated
  • A transaction was incorrectly processed
  • A service was cancelled before performance where refund eligibility applies
  • An overpayment has been verified
  • A refund is otherwise required by applicable law

Refund requests may be subject to investigation and verification before approval.

Payment gateway, bank, processing, or administrative charges may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

21. Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation of a shipment before pickup or before significant logistics processing has occurred.

Cancellation after pickup or processing has begun may not be possible and may result in applicable charges.

TIG Logistics also reserves the right to cancel shipments that violate these Terms, applicable laws, safety requirements, or operational policies.

22. Returns

Where a shipment cannot be delivered and must be returned to the sender, return transportation charges may apply.

Returned shipments may also be subject to storage, handling, redelivery, or other operational charges where applicable.

  • Violates these Terms
  • Engages in fraudulent activity
  • Fails to pay valid outstanding charges
  • Creates a security risk
  • Uses the service unlawfully
  • Attempts to abuse or manipulate our systems

Termination of an account does not automatically remove outstanding payment obligations or other responsibilities arising before termination.

31. Changes to These Terms

TIG Logistics may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, business operations, technology, policies, or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date where appropriate.
